BTR AMP plays a huge range of formats — MP3, M4A, M4B, MP4, AAC, FLAC, ALAC, AIFF, DSD (up to DSD1024), APE, MPC, TTA, WV, OGG Opus, OGG Vorbis — plus M3U playlist files. That covers lossless, lossy, and hi-res audio at 96kHz/24-bit and beyond, and each track shows its exact codec details (e.g. “FLAC 2933kbps · 96kHz · 24-bit”). More formats are on the way.

Yes. BTR AMP plays every DSD rate from DSD64 up to DSD1024 — any valid DSF file plays. Output is bit-perfect DoP to compatible USB DACs (up to DSD256, the iOS hardware ceiling) or automatic high-quality PCM conversion on any other output, with settings you can tune per output device. DSD playback is a Pro feature.
